Face & Body & Healthy Aging Conference 2003 Hosts The Day Spa Association`s “Spa Person of the Year


This yearå‘s Spa Person of the Year is Peggy Wynne Borgman, which operates Preston Wynne Spas and Preston Wynne Success Systems, its consulting division. She joins Catherine Atzen of ATZENå® & ATZENå® Clinical Spa & Cheryl Sott of Aroma Works Software who won this award in 2001 & 2002 respectively. 
Peggy Wynne Borgman is the President of Preston Wynne, which operates, manages and consults for spas. An esthetician by training, she co-founded Preston Wynne Spa in 1983, growing it to two locations and a staff of 70 professionals.
Ms. Borgman has innovated seminars for the spa industry, including the Spa Director`s Management Intensive, now offered internationally by Preston Wynne`s training division. She is the author of the consumer self care book, “Four Seasons of Inner and Outer Beauty” and is a member of the board of directors of Next Door, a domestic violence agency in Santa Clara, CA, where she created the Healing Touch program to bring domestic violence survivors to the spa for stress relief. 
The Day Spa Association chooses a “Spa Person of the Month” 6 times a year - they are individuals who have made a significant contribution to and have been influential in shaping the day spa industry nationwide as well as in their own community.
The “Spa Person of the Year” Award is chosen during a major industry event once a year from the pool of current and previous years’ Spa Persons of the Month. 
The 2003 vote for this unique award were cast during the Face & Body & Healthy Aging Conference in San Francisco September 6th through 8th and presented to the industry at the Gala Reception on Sunday evening.
