The elegant, stately but private Glenmoor Country Club is officially opening its newly renovated Spa to the public.  Now, members and nonmembers alike can enjoy spa pampering of the highest quality inside the prestigious gates of Glenmoor. 
Located in the 1930-vintage Gothic-style estate, The Spa at Glenmoor received a $700,000 makeover that included structural, cosmetic and equipment improvements.
Guests at the Grand Re-Opening kick off event, to be held on Saturday, January 24, will tour the spa, experience spa mini-services, attend health and beauty seminars, watch a fashion show of trendy and classic clothing, participate in raffles to win spa and get-away packages and sample healthy cuisine from the on-site five star restaurant.
The featured seminar, offered on the hour from 10am-6pm is “The Spahhh Experience.”  Attendees will learn the difference between Swedish and Sport massage, find out how aromatherapy affects the body and mind or why applying heat during various spa treatments can encourage healing.
To entice all the senses, guests are invited to try hands-on demonstrations of massage therapy, nail, skin and hair care, including neck eases, paraffin dips, Shiatsu touches and chair massage. Skin and body product samples will be distributed by exclusive suppliers, such as Phytomer and Skincueticals.
Other informative seminars include “Advances in Anti-Aging,”  “Reflexology—The Sole of Health,” “Liquid Sunshine,” “The Art of Creating a Flawless Face,” and especially for teens, “Hot & Hip: Teen Trends.”
From customized facials and pedicures to massage and body treatments, The Spa at Glenmoor offers something for everyone. Specializing in therapeutic treatments, spa guests are transported by deep tissue, reflexology and Swedish massage to relieves stress, muscle aches and improve circulation.
Other treatments, such as the “Warm Muscle and Joint Therapy” apply a mineral rich mud to relieve tension. The “French Silk Exfoliation” and the “Tighten & Tone Wrap” utilize marine nutrients to exfoliate, hydrate and promote firmer, toned skin.
