The 8,000 sq-ft Aquanox Spa, located at the newly opened Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort in Florida, has created innovative spa signature treatments that include Sonesta Surrender, Scented Showers and Spa Samplers.

SONESTA SURRENDER
Is an all-encompassing 80-minute body service that combines hand, foot, body and scalp treatments. The journey begins with an apricot chamomile hand and arm exfoliation, which is followed by a eucalyptus and lemongrass Tattered Tootsie Footsie Massage, designed for instant stress relief of feet and hands, which are wrapped in hot towels, massaged, exfoliated and hydrated. Extra attention is paid to the feet by using a soy-based skin softener and repair cream. A full-body Swedish massage follows, enhanced by a scalp massage, while the eyes are soothed with a flaxseed pillow.
SCENTED SHOWERS
One unusual feature of the Aquanox Spa is the Trump signature scented showers. Each shower contains individually scented shampoo, conditioner, shower-gel and body moisturiser. One shower features Oceanic Breeze, a custom-blended, cool blue fragrance specifically designed for the Aquanox Spa with a scent reminiscent of a day at the beach. The other two showers feature a citrus scent and a eucalyptus-green tea.
SAMPLING OF SPA TREATMENTS
Sea-Champagne Oxygen Facial - a warm, bubbling sea foam mud mask that oxygenates the skin and a deep cleansing facial that purifies and detoxifies.
AromaOceanTherapy Massage - personalised aromatherapy fragrances are combined with European Swedish Massage and essential oils used to eliminate toxins and boost the immune system.
Great Expectations - a pregnancy massage designed to provide comfort for mothers-to-be, is undertaken using a contouring pillow to support the body for instant relaxation and tension relief.
Firming Marine Body Wrap - the body is enveloped in a cool gel concentrated with marine nutrients and spring-water micro-capsules. These combined active agents promote a firmer appearance and improve elasticity. Recommended after pregnancy, substantial weight loss, and for sun-damaged skin.
Homme Gentlemen’s Facial - designed to meet the needs of male skin, this therapeutic treatment begins with an application of thermal sea mud to the spinal column, a technique that increases the skin’s receptivity to the active marine ingredients. The face is then deeply cleansed, exfoliated and massaged.
Aquanox Spa has separate steam rooms, saunas, showers and restrooms, together with six spa treatment rooms where the Phytomer product and treatment range is used. Meaning ‘plant of the sea’, Phytomer has provided its range of safe and healthy treatments to consumers in quest of natural products for almost 30 years. The exclusive product brand, with 100% natural marine ingredients, incorporates the spirit and values of the sea. Treatments using Phytomer facial and body care collections incorporate the unique Reflexothermale Method, which targets reflexology zones to optimise relaxation and positive results.

The beachfront 32-story, 390-room Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort is located in Sunny Isles Beach, just north of Miami Beach. All accommodation offers views of the Atlantic oceanfront or Intracoastal Waterway, and alongside the Spa and Fitness Centre, the resort features a grotto-style pool; water sports facilities; restaurants; lounges; Retail areas; a Business Center; and the Just Us Kids programme.

The project was developed by Donald Trump and Dezer Development Company and is managed by Sonesta International Hotels Corporation. This is the first Donald Trump development in Miami.
