British manufacturer Power Plastics, a pool service provider for nearly four decades, has added a touch of glamour to its new Solar pool cover collection.

The new Power Plastics addition, bearing the name Riviera 500 Goldstar, offers a traditional blue upper surface with a sparkling gold reverse. The North Yorkshire based company has been successful with its Riviera 400 covers with a blue and silver finish for some years now - but the new gold reverse is proving extremely popular with customers across the spa spectrum.

The Riviera 500 Goldstar offers an all-welded construction from 500-micron superior grade polyethylene with salvage edges on the long sides. As with all solar bubble covers, the Goldstar acts as an efficient vapour barrier considerably reducing evaporation, saving on both heat loss and pool chemicals. The specially sealed air cells floating on the surface allow the sun’s rays to heat up the water and then retain that heat.

Options include reinforced trailing and leading edges and a factory-fitted leading edge with bridle and tow rope for easier handling. The covers come in standard rectangles, with or without Roman Ends, but free-form shapes can be supplied given drawings and dimensions.
Each Power Plastics Solar pool cover also comes with a three-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects.
