Wheway Lifestyle International has created the operating philosophy and design brief for the new 1,600 må? Alanya ThalassoSpa and Health club at Lå‘Amphitrite Palace in Skhirat. The group is also to carry out the operational commissioning for the Moroccan resort spa and WLI has a five year management contract to operate the Alanya ThalassoSpa, scheduled to open at the end of the year.

The L’Amphitrite Palace hotel, which will be operated by Starwood Hotels & Resorts, as part of its Luxury Collection, is situated by the beach and within reach of key regions such as Casablanca and Rabat. 

Wheway Lifestyle International (WLI) has agreed a management contract with the owner of the hotel to operate the Alanya ThalassoSpa, which, in addition to providing spa services for guests of the hotel, will also cater for the elite of Rabat and Casablanca with Club Memberships and Day Spa Memberships.

The new Alanya ThalassoSpa and Health Club will incorporate :

Thalassotherapy Pool - to form a dramatic and central feature of the spa

Male and Female Locker Rooms - spacious and luxurious areas which will include;Caldarium, Crystal Sauna and Experience Showers

Consultation Room - offering Medical, Nutritional and Lifestyle Consultations, specialist wellbeing services and programme consultations for residential spa programmes

Rasul - for exotic mud bathing which can be shared with a partner, friends or family

Eight Multi-functional Therapy Rooms - offering a wide range of face and body treatments from the East and West for men and women

Dry Float - combining a variety of body wraps with relaxation and pampering

Floatation Tank - for deep relaxation and lifestyle programming

Tranquillity Room - to nurture all the senses

Grooming Studio - including hairdressing, manicure and pedicure

Royal Therapy Suite - created for couples, it includes a private Sanarium, Spa Bath and Relaxation area

Gymnasium - fitted with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment

Club Lounge and Spa Café - for relaxation, refreshments and light meals

The L’Amphitrite Palace hotel has 176 Junior Suites, 29 Master Suites, two Apartments, and a Royal Villa. Other facilities include an outdoor pool overlooking the beach, restaurants, piano bar and nightclub. There is also a state-of-the-art 10,000 m? Congress Centre adjacent to the resort estate. This impressive facility is Morocco’s largest conference complex and is estimated to have cost $11million.
