Simon Kerr, previously Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, London, for Inter-Continental Hotels Group, has joined Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts as Director of Sales & Marketing at Le Meridien Grosvenor House.
In his new role he will spearhead the sales, marketing and revenue strategy for the 488-bedroom hotel on the capital’s Park Lane and will be responsible for a team of 23. A graduate of Thames Valley University, Kerr has 12-years experience in hotel sales and marketing, having held key roles at The Churchill Inter-Continental, the London Hilton and The Cavendish Hotel.
Grosvenor House is one of five Le Meridien properties in central London and Le Meridien Grosvenor House now proffers a newly refurbished leisure club. It lays claim to the only swimming pool on Park Lane, which is also the largest underground pool in London, among other facilities that include state-of-the-art fitness equipment, sauna, Jacuzzis, bodycare programmes, a refreshment bar and sportswear shop.
