Jessica Cosmetics has introduced Zen Spa, a new system for hands and feet that combines the Eastern healing philosophy of aromatherapy and natural botanicals, with the advanced Western technology of enzyme therapy.

Jessica Cosmetics, founded by Jessica Vartoughian, who is considered the world’s foremost authority on natural nail care, supplies high-profile hand, feet and nail care treatments and products to some of the worlds leading spas.

Central to the latest Zen Spa collection, is papain, a proteolytic enzyme extract from the latex of green papaya, which is known to absorb and dissolve dead surface skin tissue while working to regenerate new skin cells.

The treatment, which is performed in five phases to remove the build-up of dull, dry skin, to detoxify, condition and stimulate the skin surface, looks set to be well received as an addition spa service in the industry.
