The Greenhouse Re-acquires Flagship Day Spa in New York

The Greenhouse, one of Americaå‘s most luxurious spas, has re-acquired the day spa on 57th Street in New York City. The New York branch of the legendary Dallas-based health and wellbeing spa is the only one of its kind.

The Greenhouse features 15 treatment rooms, including two hydrotherapy rooms and eight manicure/pedicure stations. Entirely private, they feature upholstered seating, miniature televisions that swing out of sight when not in use, and ingenious fold-away tables that can be used for manicures or as guests’ personal work stations during pedicures.

The New York day spa is the single outpost of the famed Greenhouse destination spa that has its roots in a sprawling Southern mansion in Arlington, Texas, just outside Dallas. Exclusively for women, The Greenhouse has a long and distinguished tradition of discreet personal attention and exceptional privacy for all guests. In any week, only 39 guests are accommodated in the individual guest rooms.

The Greenhouse was founded in 1965 and quickly earned a reputation for being one of the worlds most luxurious and comprehensive beauty retreats. Under the stewardship of owners Lee and Jerry Katzoff, The Greenhouse continues to evolve. Its many varied offerings now include the most modern aesthetic, health and nutrition programmes.

The day spa programmes at the New York location are inspired by The Greenhouse destination spa. The Greenhouse day spa offers a full range of services, including facial and body treatments. Two of the most popular treatments include; Ionothermie, a European treatment known for its beneficial results in removing cellulite, and the Japanese Silk Booster Facial, an advanced facial that features the use of natural Japanese silk protein and pure plant phytoamine biocomplexes.
