Wyndham International, Inc. announces the appointment of John Paul Oliver as general manager of the AAA Five Diamond Boulders Resort & Golden Door Spa - A Wyndham Luxury Resort in Carefree, Ariz., and area director of operations for Wyndham-branded properties in the Western Region.

In his new position, Oliver will manage day-to-day operations and marketing for the 215-room desert hideaway located in the Sonoran desert. As area director of operations, Oliver will also oversee The Lodge at Ventana Canyon in Tucson, Ariz.; the Wyndham Peaks Resort & Golden Door Spa in Telluride, Colo.; the Wyndham Colorado Springs; the Wyndham Denver Tech; the Summerfield Suites by Wyndham - Denver Tech; Grand Bay Hotel - Isla Navidad Resort in Mexico; and the Golden Door in Escondido, Calif.

Wyndham veteran Oliver, who goes to this position with over 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry, began his career with Wyndham eight years ago as general manager of the Wyndham El Conquistador Resort & Golden Door Spa and Las Casitas Village in Puerto Rico
