The company comments, “Unlike stereotypical butlers, the Evason butlers reflect the relaxed atmosphere of the resorts. They ensure that everything down to the smallest detail is taken care of, and that guests enjoy their stay to the fullest.”
The new Butler service at Six Senses commences prior to guest arrival, when they ensure that everything is in order with the pool villa and that any prior requests and specifics from previous stays have been arranged.
The host butler then greets their assigned guests on arrival and accompanies them to the pool villa, taking care that they are familiar with the villa and the services offered by the resort.
Selection criteria of a butler includes prior experience in a guest relations role and a hospitality industry diploma.
They undergo extensive training to maximise their knowledge of each resort and familiarity with the systems used. These key members of staff have been chosen for their natural communication skills and ability to handle a wealth of requests and to anticipate guests’ specific needs. Butlers can be contacted by pressing a single key on the villa telephone, which connects guests to their individual butler.
The company concludes, “Pool villa butler service is yet another example of the Evason resorts positioning statement - Redefining Experiences”.
