You may remember that last weekend ISPA sent a questionnaire to all European members regarding the troubled 2003 ISPA Europe Congress. Since then, the responses have been processed and today ISPA issued this statementå...

“Because there wasn`t a clear majority of you who asked that the event go forward, ISPA will not proceed with the Europe Congress that was scheduled for May 29 - June 1 in Stockholm, Sweden. Instead, ISPA will turn its immediate focus to providing you with alternative venues for education and networking, as well as research.
As you`ve told us, the main benefits of membership are the educational and networking opportunities you receive. Because we want to deliver these benefits, ISPA is prepared to respond to your needs. As we move forward, please let me know your thoughts on regional ISPA events in various countries. I am also interested in hearing about spa industry conferences that you currently attend. We are researching the idea of adding ISPA spa tracks to existing conferences. Your feedback will help ISPA enhance the current educational and networking opportunities for you and other members.
