Today sees the start of Beauty Awareness week 2003 å- from 31st March 2003 to 6th April 2003 å- which promises to be the biggest yet.

Over 1,000 beauty spas and salons nationwide will be participating in the UK industry promotion with special offers on treatments for new clients.

Created by BABTAC, the leading association for beauty and holistic therapists, Beauty Awareness Week is designed to encourage more people to try a professional beauty or holistic therapist at a special price, in order for them to experience the benefits of regular treatments for themselves.

It is an introductory approach to treatments that appears to be working in the UK; since its inception three years ago, over ten thousand people have tried treatments for the first time, with many continuing to visit professional therapists.
