Laterooms.com, the Manchester based discount hotel room service has seen its business grow 100 percent for the second year in succession, with daily visitors to the site now hitting up to 30,000 and hotel room bookings reaching over £30 million in 2002.

Commenting on the growth, Sales Director, Chris Allen states, “We have seen steady growth since launching the service in 1999. Although times are tough, businessmen still need to stay in hotels and families like to take weekend breaks, so they search around for the best deals, and can save up to 70% at Laterooms.”

Although it is possible to book a room online at Laterooms, it would seem that customers prefer to search the website and then make the booking by telephone. As a result, Laterooms has expanded its call centre and plans to operate around the clock by June 2003.
