French skincare specialist Guinot has announced the launch of the latest skincare collection to meet the summer spa market.

Designed for use before, during and after sun exposure, the new Guinot summer season skincare collection is set to be a sure-fire hit in spas throughout Europe, with a comprehensive range comprising;

Guinot Auto-Bronzant Treatment. A long-lasting and moisturising self-tan treatment that takes approximately one hour and includes a full body scrub to leave skin with a natural sun-kissed glow.

For active outdoor types, the company has developed a compact SPF50 Anti-UV Stick. Designed for protection during sporting activities, it provides very high protection against harmful UV rays, repairs damage caused by UV rays and soothes the skin. The sheer Anti-UV Stick contains UVA and UVB filters as well as extracts of horse chestnut and skin tree to protect against sunburn, prevent redness and calm the complexion. Vitamin E prevents premature ageing whilst aloe and shea butter moisturise and nourish. This can be applied to sensitive areas of the face, such as the eye area, nose, lips, cheeks, ears and bald heads.

Visage d’Eté - Summer Radiance Self-Tan for Face, is a self-tan cream that instantly brightens the face and doubles as a tinted moisturiser. The product’s main ingredient is Hydrocyte - a new active developed by Guinot Paris. Hydrocyte is a super-moisturising complex of amino acids that is 30% more effective than hyaluronic acid. It is easily absorbed to moisturise and balance water content in the deeper layers of the skin. Visage d’Eté is suitable for both fair skin and darker complexions and also contains vitamin E and allantoin to soothe and soften.

For tanned, hair-free legs, Epil Soleil a Depilatory and Self-Tanning, two-in-one formula combines anti-hair regrowth with self-tanning. This non-oily tinted gel leaves legs with an iridescent sheen whilst soothing and moisturising the skin and curbing hair regrowth.

Après Soleil Fraicheur After Sun Lotion is a refreshing after-sun repair milk with a light caramel fragrance which can be applied over the face and body after sunbathing and to prolong a tan. Although it does not contain UV filters, the active ingredients include Heliotropine, which prepares the skin for sun exposure the next day and makes it more naturally resistant to UV rays.

A multi-purpose product, for use as an in-flight cream to insect bite soother Baume Anti-Irritation Anti-Irritation Treatment is skin rescue in a tube. This four-in-one product also calms heat rash and appeases minor skin complaints. The balm has a luxuriant texture and is a veritable cocktail of healing agents and ingredients. Allantoin, extracted from the root of Comfrey, fights infection and has anti-wrinkle properties. Lavender is antiseptic and soothing and Zinc promotes healing.
