Defining beauty across the globe, supermodel Liya Kebede is to join Elizabeth Hurley and Carolyn Murphy in the new Estee Lauder Global Advertising Campaign Strategy.
Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, Group President of The Estee Lauder Companies Inc., has announced that the company will sign Liya Kebede and is renewing Elizabeth Hurley`s contract, both of whom team with Carolyn Murphy as the faces of the famous Estee Lauder brand.
The new advertising campaign, under the direction of Aerin Lauder, Vice President of Global Advertising Estee Lauder, represents a key component of the brand renewal effort undertaken a year ago. Ms. Kebede, Ms. Hurley and Ms. Murphy`s images will be utilised exclusively on behalf of Estee Lauder beauty products and in its fragrance, cosmetics and skincare advertising worldwide.

Her unique and stunning runway presence has captivated the attention of the fashion and beauty world. Elizabeth Hurley`s new contract marks the beginning of her ninth consecutive year representing Estee Lauder in its worldwide advertising campaigns. The multi-talented British actress is the face of Intuition and appears in its newest campaign, which will launch globally in major beauty, fashion and lifestyles magazines in April 2003. In addition, Ms. Hurley will continue to make personal appearances around the world on behalf of Estee Lauder and the company`s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. Her
tireless support of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, founded by Evelyn H. Lauder, includes personal participation in the recent U.S. book and media tour that launched Mrs. Lauder`s most recent collection of photography, An Eye For Beauty, proceeds of which benefited the cause.
Carolyn Murphy`s first advertising campaign for Estee Lauder appeared in January 2002 issues of all major beauty, fashion and lifestyle magazines worldwide. When Estee Lauder launched her as its new face in September 2001, Vogue characterised Carolyn Murphy as an icon in the making. Since then, her image has driven the modernity of the brand through advertising and at retail. She has also been instrumental in connecting the brand with consumers through global image building events such as Japan`s Defining Beauty Awards and the BAMBI Awards in Germany.
