ISRM to Present First Spa Operators Course in Wales

Water contamination is a sensitive subject for many spa owners, hydrotherapy operators and leisure facility managers in the UK. A new Spa Operators programme addressing the issues looks set to be an invaluable industry event.

Spas, in particular, are vulnerable to microbial growth due to the elevated temperatures and low volume, so correct operational procedures are essential. The new two-day Spa Operators Course and Pool Plant Operators Certificate, taking place at the Aquadome, Port Talbot in South Wales, will highlight the dangers and educate operators in this vital area of business.

THE NEW SPA OPERATORS COURSE

This two-day course has been developed to provide all spa and hydrotherapy operators with important knowledge in relation to these sensitive facilities. The course is invaluable for operators as a stand-alone qualification or to supplement the full Pool Plant Operators Certificate. It will be the first course of its type in the region.

NATIONAL POOL PLANT 0PERATORS CERTIFICATE

A three-day course for those requiring a comprehensive knowledge of pool plant operation. Certificated with site specific assignment as part of the assessment. These contribute to a realistic practical course.
