Finders International Ltd is set to open its first Spa Concept Shop in the Far East early this year. The venture, in association with a reputable spa-chain, Aspara, headed by Mr. Peter Sng, is currently at roll-out stage. The concept shop is set to add another level to the spa market with Finders interactive retailing concept which offers customers a unique mineral water experience.

The new venture, Finders Spa Concept Asia Pte Ltd, was incorporated in Singapore and has appointed Mr. Matthew Lim as Director of Marketing to spearhead the operation. Lim has recently returned from a week of intensive training at Finders headquarters in Kent, England. He also visited several retail outlets and attended a training session for managers at the UK’s largest departmental store chain, Debenhams. He said of his experience, “I was amazed by the positive response to retailing spa products in this way. The most intriguing part of the trip was discovering the Hydrofloat system. I could imagine myself floating in the Dead Sea, totally relaxed. It was truly a unique experience that everyone should try,” he added.

Optimistic about the spa industry in the Far East, Lim continued, “The industry is at an early stage in the Asia Pacific and there are plenty of opportunities for growth. What is important is to introduce to spa customers and would-be customers the true spa experience,” reiterated Lim. This ideal can be achieved with the Finders Spa Concept.
The company will be working closely with the leading spa organisations ISPA Asia Pacific (International Spa Association) and BISA, (British International Spa Association). The spa business is opening up and is becoming more and more competitive so you have to get it right from the beginning,” concluded Lim.

Matthew Lim graduated from a Canadian public university with a MBA in Executive Management. Prior to his current appointment, Lim spent the last 11 years in the hospitality and service industry. His last appointment was as Senior Manager of Business Development at Bintan Lagoon Resort, a five-star resort in the Far East with extensive spa and golf facilities.

Finders International Ltd was established 23 years ago in the UK and is currently selling worldwide its exclusive professional spa products which have become the market leader in the pure spa mineral concept.
