ISPA Europe Congress 2003 - Keynote Speakers Announced


Three high calibre keynote speakers have today been confirmed for the ISPA Europe 2003 Congress. This important industry event, to be held at the Hasseludden Conference Hotel and Yasuragi in Stockholm, Sweden, from 29 May to 1 June 2003, will explore The Modern Spa Concept.


The announcement of the keynote speakers certainly sets the tone for this year’s ISPA Europe annual congress, which has a mission `To bring an international industry together, sharing spa knowledge, trends, innovations and invaluable experiences in a friendly and social environment`.

“We have put a lot of emphasis on the keynote speakers and the lecturing programme to ensure that the congress maintains its standing as the industry’s number one event,” says ISPA Europe’s President, Carina Billetun.


The three keynote speakers announced are:

Michael Södermalm, Mental Training International, Sweden

Michael works with corporations and organisations all over the world in sales, marketing, communication and personal development. A former professional athlete and football coach, he has a BS Degree in Business Administration, from North Carolina, US, and a diploma from the International Society of Mental Training, in Sweden. He will provide an unforgettable lesson in how to achieve ‘Peak Performance in Life and Work’.


Teresa Hale - founder and managing director of the Hale Clinic

Teresa Hale is regarded as one of the world’s leading health visionaries and has played a major role in complementary medicine over the last 15 years. A philosophy and economics graduate, with a post graduate degree in education, an interest in yoga led Teresa into complementary medicine. In a keynote session she will address her visionary approach to health care and the role spas can play in this.


Johan Peter Paludan - director of the Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies

Widely renowned as an expert in the field of future studies, Johan Peter specialises in labour market issues, education and social trends, he also writes regularly for a variety of national and international publications. His session on ‘Dream Society - spa society’ will give delegates a fascinating and sharp analysis of our lives.
