Baron LRMS, software supplier to many of the UK`s top spas and leisure resorts, has installed its successful Resort Manager operating system to manage the spa’s booking and retailing procedures.
Baron LRMS Managing Director, Michael Barrett says, “The new Thermae Bath Spa is an incredible complex right in the heart of this historic spa
city. Baron faced tough competition to provide the IT systems but our all-
encompassing, flexible software solution was the number one choice and it is
fast proving to be a market leader for venues all over the world”.
The new spa is operated by Thermae Development Company (TDC), which has also created and managed numerous leading spas across Europe. Peter Rollins, Sales & Marketing Manager of Thermae Bath Spa, comments, “Baron`s solution was selected against international competition due to its compatibility with the wide range of the spa`s unique needs.
“Their established and proven reputation for quality products and services
within the leisure industry also contributed towards this success. I have been particularly impressed by their positive thinking, back-up and support,” concludes Rollins.
Situated close to the city`s renowned original Roman Baths, the spa will be fed by three natural thermal springs which rise in the centre of this famous World Heritage Site. The Bath Spa Project and the revival of the new spa has been made possible by a £7.78 million grant from the Millennium Commission, and a collaboration between Bath & North East Somerset Council, Thermae Development Company, The ERDF KONVER Fund and The Bath Spa Trust.
