Gleneagles Introduces Ayurvedic Treatments

The Spa at Gleneagles in Scotland has recently introduced an exclusive range of E`spa Ayurvedic treatments to its extensive therapy menu.
E`spa has created treatments incorporating traditional Indian medicinal practices with others from Bali, China and Europe.

Set in Scottish splendour, Gleneagles is a member of The Great Spa Hotels of the World, it is a hotel where kings and queens, stars and celebrated guests have long admired the grandeur and elegance of this famous five-star resort. Although its ties with tradition remain strong, the hotel spa has embraced the alternative ideals of Ayurveda.

The treatments have been created to rebalance and harmonise the body`s natural charkas, which work to release physical and mental tension and promote complete wellbeing. Included in the newly designed collection of therapies is the E’spa Ayurvedic Holistic Body Treatment. Using the ancient art of Ayurveda, it begins by inviting guests to sip a refreshing infusion whilst enjoying a welcome foot ritual. This is followed by a salt scrub and marma point massage of energy centres over the face and body. The treatment concludes with a chakra massage of the head and scalp.

The newly refurbished Club and Spa at Gleneagles offers an exclusive range of beauty care and therapeutic treatments, including the innovative E`spa lifestyle programme.
