Six Senses Appoints Brand Director


Six Senses has announced the appointment of Evangeline A. Imperial as Director of Sales & Marketing for the Evason Hotels & Resorts brand. Imperial will be responsible for directing and strategising the sales and marketing activities, including reservations systems, revenue management, loyalty initiatives and media activity for trade and consumer markets. She reports directly to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Six Senses Hotels, Resorts and Spas, and is based in Bangkok.


Evangeline A. Imperial joins Evason following her most recent roles with Shangri La as Director of Sales & Marketing in Qingdao China and Rasa Sayang Resort Malaysia. Prior to that, she spent ten years at Whistler Resort in British Columbia Canada in a number of management roles at the Pan Pacific Lodge. She led teams that significantly grew hotel revenues and won several accolades for the hotel’s service delivery. Her tenure culminated in the role of Resort Manger.


Born in the Philippines, with Canadian citizenship, Imperial has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and an MBA Major in Marketing from De La Sale University. She is married to a committed golfer, Michael, and enjoys downhill snow skiing, diving, and preparing her favorite dishes for entertaining at home.


Evason Resorts are located in Phuket and Hua Hin Thailand, plus the Ana Mandara Hideaway in Nha Trang Vietnam and the Evason Hideaway Samui, currently under development on the island of Samui Thailand.


Six Senses is a Hotel, Resort & Spa Management and Development Company established in 1995, which owns the award-winning Soneva Fushi Resort in the Maldives and manages hotels and resorts under the brand names Soneva and Evason, and Six Senses Spas.
