Stonewater Set To Open Another Day Spa

At the end of January, Stonewater will unveil a new 3,800 sq-ft day spa and boutique in Greenwich Avenue, Connecticut.
Currently under construction, the Stonewater Spa & Boutique will be the only full-service day spa located on The Avenue and will be the flagship property of Stonewater, one of the largest day spa companies in the U.S., pursuing the first-ever day spa industry consolidation.

Stonewater already owns and operates the 1,800 sq-ft Spring Spa of Renewal on East Putnam Ave., which will be closed once Stonewater Spa & Boutique opens, making it the only location in the company’s portfolio that is being built, and the only spa in the collection located in Connecticut.

“We have such confidence in Greenwich and its proximity to serving both the underserved Fairfield and Westchester residents interested in a day spa experience that we decided to double the size of our current location to create the flagship Stonewater spa and boutique property in the heart of Greenwich,” says Francis X. Acunzo, Stonewater`s founder and chief executive officer.

Stonewater has contracted CPS Design Inc., a prestigious New York City-based design firm with extensive luxury hotel and spa development experience, to create and oversee the layout of the facility and the spa`s interior design. The look and feel of Stonewater Spa & Boutique will embody earth elements - including wood, stone, bamboo and marble, and pure style - with a variety of earth tone fabrics.

CPS Design`s past projects have included such exclusive locations as The California Terrace Spa at the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo, Monaco; The Spa at Norwich Inn in Norwich, Conn.; and The Spa at the Sonoma Mission Inn in Sonoma, Calif.
