Aqua Sana, a new jewel in the crown of Center Parcs, boasts the absolute latest facilities and claims to offer the most sublime multi-sensory experiences to be found anywhere in the UK.

It is fifteen years since this first Center Parcs Village, was built in the UK, and Sherwood has been a resounding success ever since. The £18 million investment and the impressive new Spa - Aqua Sana will undoubtedly enhance and expand this flourishing formula.

The new Aqua Sana is superb, and claims to be one of the best Spas in the UK.
It is beautifully designed and the creation of the spa experiences available is second-to-none in this environment. The two-storey building has curved walls and a pan-tiled roof that creates a very sunny, Romanesque feel, and inside, all the Spa experiences are central to a large pool.

There fourteen themed experiences in the Spa; an Indian Blossom Steam Room; a Turkish Hammam; a Laconium; and a Japanese Salt Steam Bath - all designed to purifying and detoxify the body. There`s a Tyrolean sauna, and ice crystals, in addition to the soothing Greek Herbal Bath, the bubbling Reflexology Foot Bath and the exhilarating Experience showers.

Deep relaxation and contemplation at this newly opened spa concept can be achieved in the Aqua Meditation Room, the Meditation Room, the Japanese Zen Garden or the Tyrolean Garden.
There are 16 treatment rooms in Aqua Sana, which also boasts the Serail (a self-applied mud bath treatment for two); the Slipper Bath - a balmy, sunken Spa bath; and a pampering Dry Floatation Room.

The new Time Out Club presents an Artworx Room, a Virtual Zone, and a chill-out base for teenagers. The crèche for babies and toddlers, from three months to three years, will also be a welcome addition. Upstairs in this new building, there`ll be the Action Zone - a multifunction sports and activity hall with a roller rink and its own stage.

From mid-December, Jardin des Sports will have the addition of a Golf Simulator, a Fitness Suite, a Snooker garden and a new play area for children. There`ll be a new Sports Café, a restaurant and bar with sporting action on the big screen. From late December, visitors can enjoy a taste of the East with the addition of a new restaurant, Rajinda Pradesh.

The company has also introduced to Sherwood the very latest generation of Center Parcs Executive Accommodation. Most overlook water and two of the villas are situated on their own private peninsula. The three-bedroom villas have their own outside sauna with a bucket shower and the four-bedroom an additional hot tub. They`re all deeply comfortable inside, with Jacuzzi bath, dishwasher, hi-fi system and a TV in every bedroom. Each has a log-burning stove, and there`s a store for luggage, cot and high chair. The cedar-shingled, two-storey Executive apartments are stand-alone apartments: one and two-bedroom, plus two penthouse apartments, conveniently situated close to the superb new Aqua Sana.
