ResidenSea Presents New Southeast Asian Itinerary on The World

The first ocean-going luxury resort, The World of ResidenSea, with a spectacular 5,900 sq. ft spa at sea, is presenting a round-trip Singapore Voyage as part of its new 2003 Southeast Asian Itinerary.
With the safety and security of residents and guests in mind, executives of The World of ResidenSea, the first-ever mixed-use resort community at sea å- have published modifications to the shipå‘s 2003 itinerary in Southeast Asia. These changes were made in light of recent events in Indonesia and governmental advisories issued against travel in the surrounding area.

President and CEO Robert Riley explains, “An integral part of guests’ and residents’ experience on The World is enjoying the comforts of home onboard - and critical elements of feeling ‘at home’ are safety and security. The modifications we have made offer our guests and residents the same level of cultural stimulation as the previous itinerary, with additional assurance of their safety and security.”

With modifications made to ports of call between March 29 and April 7, 2003, The World`s new itinerary offers residents and guests the opportunity to sail seven nights round-trip from Singapore, along the way relishing the spectacular beaches and colorful reefs of Phuket and Ko Phi Phi, Thailand and discovering Malaysia’s vibrant capital, Kuala Lumpur.

The concept of traveling the world without leaving home was conceived and developed by Norwegian Knut U. Kloster, Jr., the former chairman of Royal Viking Line and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Kloster is also a member of the renowned shipping family that pioneered the modern cruise industry in the early 1960s.

The World`s residents select an interior design style from four internationally acclaimed designers. Homes range from 1,106 to 3,200 sq. ft and are priced from US$2.255 million.
