The November/December issue of Healing Retreats & Spas, the nationwide magazine devoted to nurturing and healing alternatives, features the Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa in a six-page pictorial/editorial layout. The article, Moonlight in Vermont, refers to LaStone Therapy, a stone and massage treatment offered exclusively in Vermont at the Stoweflake Spa & Sports Club. LaStone Therapy combines Swedish massage with the age-old healing practice of placing hot and cold stones in strategic places to open up energy channels and facilitate self-healing and body-mind awareness. Clients of LaStone Therapy often experience surprisingly common responses of “sinking into the earth” and “dissolving into dream time.”
