The new owner and operator of the La Costa Resort and Spa, KSL
Recreation Corporation, is planning to launch what promises to be one of the region’s most notable
turnarounds in recent years. While the renaissance of the world-famous property will begin in the coming
months, changes already are taking place from within. KSL will begin offering the spa’s life-enhancement
treatments and world-class services to the public beginning January 1, 2002.
The resort has a longstanding history of attracting spa aficionados who thoroughly enjoy the diversity of
treatments in La Costa’s full-service spa. “With the support of the new ownership, the timing is perfect to
