LivingWell has centralised all business functions under one roof following a major redevelopment of its Milton Keynes premises. The move will streamline LivingWell’s central operations during a period of rapid growth both in the UK, and internationally.
The building on Avebury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, will now act as the corporate office and central base for all members of the LivingWell`s executive.
Business functions including training, communications, IT and UK and international project development, previously located in satellite offices, are now to be consolidated under one roof resulting in greater ease of interaction between departments.
Stuart Broster, managing director, comments: “LivingWell previously followed a satellite office structure, but at our current stage of rapid development the business will be more efficiently run from one central base.
“Situated within easy reach of Luton Airport and the M1, our Milton Keynes premises is ideally positioned to act as a hub for managing and developing all LivingWell clubs, both in the UK and internationally. The move will consolidate all areas of the business, raising productivity and efficiency, on the eve of a very exciting period of expansion for the LivingWell brand.”
The building, which formally consisted of offices as well as a night club and restaurant, has been redeveloped to accommodate fifty staff within a large open plan office, a dedicated training and development office, eight executive offices, four meeting rooms, and a staff room. The LivingWell head office will also have a dedicated entrance and reception.
The LivingWell building also houses a Premier health club, and a unique Winter Garden consisting of a wide variety of lush tropical plants and fish.
LivingWell`s project development manager Gordon Coles, responsible for the redevelopment said “By using with the same quality materials, product standards and colour schemes, we have ensured that the new offices reflect the same contemporary feel and quality standards to that of our health clubs. We worked closely with our development team to ensure that our distinctive Winter Garden was carefully preserved as part of the overall project.”
