Since opening in 1990 the atrium pool at John Ascuaga’s Nugget has been a favorite among locals and visitors alike for its unique design and great amenities. Recently the readers of Casino Player voted the atrium pool at John Ascuaga`s Nugget the “Best Pool” in the 2002 “Best of Gaming” readers’ survey
The indoor/outdoor heated pool and spa, feature beautiful plants and window panels on the ceiling that open in nice weather. Guests can lounge by the pool or take in some sun and fresh air on the two sun decks while looking out over beautiful Reno-Sparks and the Sierras.
The pool, complete with a waterfall and eight individual spas, is heated year-round. If you`re feeling hungry or thirsty, poolside food and beverage service is available, offering the best in sandwiches, hamburgers, salads, desserts, freshly squeezed orange juice, drinks and cocktails. Need a bathing suit? Our Gift Shop carries mens` and womens` suits in case of emergencies. The pool and spa are open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
