Horwath Asia Pacific announces the formation of Horwath Spa Consulting Ltd.

In response to the growing demand for spa-related services throughout the region, Horwath Asia Pacific is pleased to announce the formation of Horwath Spa Consulting, a full service consultancy specializing in the development and operation of health oriented resorts and spas.

Based in Bangkok, Horwath Spa Consulting will be led by Naphalai Areesorn, co-founder and former managing director of Chiva-Som International Health Resort in Hua Hin, current President of the Thai Spa Association and Executive Board Member of the International Spa Association (ISPA). Joining her as directors will be Simon Littlewood and Greg Richardson, both of whom have many years of spa experience in Thailand and overseas. Together, the team brings to bear an all-encompassing range of experience and spa-related disciplines including concept development, facility planning and design, project management, treatment programming, staff training, operations implementation, marketing, merchandising and even, if needed, on-going management.

According to Ms. Areesorn, “True health is achieved when your life is in balance between your body, mind and soul. By helping clients create unique and innovative spa experiences based on this underlying philosophy, we are also fulfilling the needs and desires of the most discerning spa users. Such focus on delivering guest satisfaction to maximize guest visitation and retention, is also the surest way to maximize revenue and profitability for the spa owner.”

The creation of Horwath Spa Consulting follows on the comprehensive regional spa industry survey of operations conducted by Horwath Asia Pacific and presented at last year`s ISPA Asia Pacific Summit & Exhibition in Singapore.

“Being able to offer our clients such expanded, detailed spa related services is a great complement to our existing consulting services and we are excited to be working with Naphalai, Simon and Greg”, says Horwath Asia Pacific managing director, Robert Hecker. “We are already involved together with several projects in China and given the inquiries concerning spa projects received over the past 12 months I don`t expect there will be any shortage of work for the new group”.
