Spa La Quinta Offers Unique Services

(LA QUINTA, CA) - Located at La Quinta Resort & Clubå®, Spa La Quinta is a desert oasis offering a pampering and rejuvenating spa experience unique to its environment.  In keeping with the resort`s history, many of Spa La Quinta`s treatments incorporate the area`s Native American roots and desert surroundings. Specialized treatments include water therapy treatments, body treatments, massage, and skin care.
A spacious 23,000 square-foot desert retreat, Spa La Quinta features 35 treatment rooms, including 18 massage rooms; seven facial rooms; nine wrap rooms; one hydro tub suite; eight private whirlpool baths; three inhalation rooms; two steam rooms; four open air signature La Quinta Celestial Shower®; and an outside Sanctuary Courtyard complete with fireplace.
Desert Healing Waters, a special line of water therapy treatments, have been designed to help boost circulation and the immune system, help remove toxins from the body and send more oxygen and nutrients to the tissue.  A singular and unique La Quinta experience is the signature La Quinta Celestial Shower®.  Guests enjoy a private open-air setting with 15 shower jets carefully aimed at various pressure points throughout the body.  An attendant waits outside the shower, adjusting the temperature and shower flow for maximum relaxation.  The La Quinta Celestial Shower is the perfect primer for a myriad of services at the Spa.
Skin care therapists at Spa La Quinta devote special time to rejuvenating the whole body with unique Body Treatments, including scrubs using indigenous products from the area.  For the Mountain Dunes Clay Wrap, orange clay is dry brushed to the skin, providing extensive detoxification of the skin, while trapping moisture.  Another popular Native American treatment is the Cahuilla Sage Wrap that detoxifies the body through enhanced perspiration.
To maximize the peace and serenity of the desert surroundings, Massage Therapies are available in private outdoor or indoor treatments rooms.  For centuries, Native Americans have revered the healing energies of stones.  Spa La Quinta`s Sacred Stone Therapy massage honors that tradition and harnesses the power of smooth, warm stones as a massage tool.  A skilled therapist utilizes more than 50 heated stones to relax muscles and joints, carefully melting away stress.
A professionally prescribed skin care program is vital to maintaining healthy, vibrant skin, and Spa La Quinta has developed a special line of Skin Care treatments to do just that.  From the La Quinta Custom Facial to the Champagne Revitalizing facial, a skin care specialist works with guests to choose the best treatments for an individual’s skin care needs.
The Oasis Shop located in Spa La Quinta features the skin care products utilized in the Spa’s treatments, as well as spa gifts keepsakes.
