K2 For IndeCorp.

K2 Digital is to develop a platform that will allow IndeCorp, the holding company of Preferred Hotels, Summit Hotels and Sterling Hotels, to take advantage of a centralised Web presence that offers them the ability to portray individually the unique qualities of their luxury brands.
In addition, as part of IndeCorp`s CRM strategy, K2 will provide turnkey programmes for online marketing.
IndeCorp had hoped to be bigger by merging with Frankfurt-based SRS-Worldhotels, but merger talks were discontinued last month. New York-based K2 Digital, founded in 1993, offers business planning, technical strategy, engineering and award-winning design in travel and has a Blue Chip client list, including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Morgan Stanley, Silversea Cruises and WorldCom.
The lodging, gaming, and leisure research group of Bear Stearns predicts: “By 2002, hotel bookings via the Internet will generate $3.1 billion in revenues, up from less than $100 million in 1997. Bear Stearns estimates that 22% of all US hotel rooms can be reserved over the Internet.” Included in K2`s travel portfolio is award-winning work for Puerto Rico Convention Bureau, Silversea Cruises and Skymalltravel.com.
