Ship-To-Shore Online With RCL

Royal Caribbean Cruises have recently added a shore-excursion booking tool.
This feature allows guests and prospective cruisers to review more than 1,500 excursions in 260 ports of call as they plan or consider their customized Royal Caribbean
vacation.
The new tool simplifies the booking process. Once guests book a Royal Caribbean cruise with a travel agent or directly with the company, they can use their booking number to purchase shore excursions online up to 10 days prior to their departure. A shore excursion icon takes guests to the Explorations! site where they browse by destination or make a purchase. Every excursion is profiled by port of call, with full descriptions, pricing and availability information.
The new tool also expedites confirmation and payment. Once an excursion is booked, guests receive immediate confirmation by e-mail. The secured system allows guests to charge the cost to a credit card. International guests can select their preferred language and also can be charged the booking fee in their local currencies. Shore excursion tickets will be delivered to guests` staterooms on the first day of the cruise.
Guests are free to make changes to their bookings up to 10 days prior to the cruise. Changes can still be made upon embarkation. Space will be reserved for guests who wish to book onboard. Reservations by mail and fax will continue to be available for select itineraries.
With the aid of streaming video, Royalcaribbean.com allows prospective and past cruisers to experience “virtual” cruise vacations, which enable them to visit the Caribbean or Europe, and feel like they`re parasailing in Grand Cayman or bicycling in Copenhagen.
