US Airways and Student Advantage, Inc., are joining forces to provide college students special discount travel benefits through the Student Advantage Membership Program.
Students who join Student Advantage, or renew their membership for 2001-2002, will receive a unique array of benefits for travel on US Airways, including member-only ticket discounts, Dividend Miles frequent flyer bonuses when purchasing tickets online at www.usairways.com, and customised offers throughout the year.
College students travel an average of 3.3 roundtrips by air each year, including vacations, holidays and trips between college and home, according to a fall 2000 Student Monitor study. Approximately 15 million students are enrolled in the nation`s colleges and have access to an estimated $120 billion in discretionary spending.
