easyJet has just reached another important landmark in the airline’s history by selling two million seats online

easyJet, the web’s favourite airline, continues to enjoy tremendous growth in online sales. The airline started selling seats via the Internet in April ‘98 and eighteen months later in October 1999, reached the one million seat mark. However, it has taken less than five months to sell the second million, and at the current rate of growth, easyJet anticipates that the three million seat mark will be reached before the summer.
