Newspaper travel editors are now turning to 800 Travel Systems for help in informing readers about discount airfares.
The Company now produces free Low Fare Maps for more than 50 major newspapers. These maps report the lowest published airfares to a variety of domestic and international destinations. 800 Travel Systems, under the names 1-888-FLY-4-LESS and, is cited as the source of cost-saving information in newspaper travel sections. Its discount airfare information is also available on several newspaper Web sites.
The company has recently added The Baltimore Sun, The Columbus Dispatch and The Wichita Eagle, and will be providing information for the print versions of these newspapers.
Other newspapers that receive the free service include: The Chicago Tribune, both print and online editions, The Arizona Republic, The Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, The Buffalo News, The Los Angeles Daily News, The Washington Times, The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, The Minneapolis Star Tribune, and The Asbury Park Press. In total, over 50 newspaper organisations are currently using this service with a combined circulation of over 9.1 million.
