TouchScape and Peragis have agreed to provide Internet-based CRM tools designed to help travel agencies build customer loyalty and make the transition from order taking to proactive marketing.
With airline commissions being squeezed, travel agencies are attempting to increase their focus on selling the more profitable complex travel products like cruises and tours. TouchScape`s Web-based tools will enable travel agents to better service and sell these products to their leisure travel clients by providing Web-enabled client registration, customer self-service, agent-assisted service, and permission-based email marketing.
This relationship will complement Peragis` existing suite of Internet-based travel products, which are already an integral part of the travel agent community. The TouchScape CRM technology will interface with Peragis` Central, an enterprise intranet tool focused on providing travel agency consortia groups the tools to increase their level of service to members, and SiteWizard, a customisable template-based Website design programme empowering travel agencies to brand, build and modify professional customised websites.
