Get2Hawaii, an affiliate of Panda Group, one of the U.S.å‘s largest travel wholesalers specialising in the Hawaii market, is the first locally-based B2B ASP to offer an online booking engine that provides cost-efficiencies along the entire travel distribution chain in the Hawaiian travel market, from supplier to end-customer.
The new company was created to meet the growing need among travel resellers for a trusted, online, comprehensive source for all their travel service needs. As an affiliate company of Panda Group, Get2Hawaii has access to Panda`s vast network of industry contacts and relationships that make Panda such a major force in the Hawaii travel market.
Leveraging the Web as a delivery mechanism for the software service will provide Get2Hawaii customers, such as travel resellers, with access to an unprecedented real-time inventory of hotel rooms, flights, car rentals, and attractions, as well as automated customer service features. For travel suppliers, the Get2Hawaii application will provide a much-needed, low-cost distribution channel combined with access to a broader target market.
According to company officials, timing for release 1.0 of the Get2Hawaii application is scheduled for second quarter, 2001.
