Jetour, a leading Asian travel agency, has selected Compucon Computers to implement PacificNet.com`s eMerchant2000 solutions.
This will enable Jetour to connect with customers and sponsored tour agencies, and to streamline processes associated with its tour planning and organising functions.
Compucon, one of PacificNet`s value-added resellers, will be integrating eMerchant2000 with their Departmental 3000 server in a bundled e-business solution package. The reseller programme is an effective way for PacificNet to implement and integrate its technologies across multiple industries and sales channels.
Jetour will be implementing the latest version of eMerchant2000, based on Sun`s Java technology, to conduct online order processing, catalogue management, ticket reservation, hotel booking, and CRM. Jetour`s network of over 80 travel agents and representatives will be utilising the new system.
