The only travel Web site offering the capability of researching, planning and booking individual or all components of a customized European vacation, EuroVacations.com, just announced another first: a “Book Now, Pay Later” policy that lets travelers secure their custom-designed trip (or off-the-shelf package) with a $100 deposit for up to 60 days prior to departure.
EuroVacations.com also recently announced a guarantee to match the lowest price for any similar vacation package available on the Internet.
In another development, TRUSTe, an independent non-profit user privacy initiative, last week awarded EuroVacations.com its third-party oversight seal after reviewing the sites privacy policy and practices.
To take advantage of the “Book Now, Pay Later” policy, travelers simply plan and book the travel services they want on EuroVacations.com. Once the booking is confirmed, a $100-per-person deposit is charged; the balance is not due until 45 days prior to departure. Final payment will automatically be charged to the credit card used for the deposit. The deposit is non-refundable, and is valid for bookings placed at least 60 days prior to departure from the US.
