Webvertising Breaks Into South American Hospitality Market With Seamless Solution

They’ve crossed borders and sailed the seas to reach a new market: South America.
With a newly signed deal with a hotel based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Webvertising has reached a milestone, introducing their integrated online marketing system to hotels in the South American continent.
The newly implemented online system, iHotelier, will allow the Maksoud Plaza ( www.maksoud.com.br
) to manage call-in groups and corporate rates. They are also now able to offer travel agents the ability to book online directly with the Maksoud Plaza through a special Travel Agent interface. The hotel will be able to track the online activities of registered travel agents through their administrative interface.
“To provide cutting edge Internet technologies for our guests has been one of our highest priorities”, says Henry Maksoud, President and owner of the Maksoud Plaza. “In the field of online reservations, Webvertising understood our needs and teamed up with us to achieve an extremely flexible and functional system for individuals, corporations and Travel Agents”.
Webvertising worked closely with the Maksoud Plaza, a 416-room, 45-suite hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to incorporate its seamless integrated system to the existing Maksoud Plaza web site and to customize the system to meet the hotel’s unique needs. The Maksoud Plaza’s system also has multi-lingual capabilities and is currently configured in Portuguese and English, with the ability to handle two additional languages.
“We are very pleased with the fact that we are entering the Brazilian market by helping the Maksoud Plaza with its online strategy. This is a hotel that has traditionally been a pioneer when it comes to introducing new service concepts and new technologies to the hotel industry in Brazil”, says Webvertising’s CEO, Rod Jimenez. “Once again, they are setting themselves apart by implementing a very comprehensive online strategy. We are proud to count them as our clients.”
