Hod Hasharon, Israel - GlobaLoop?, developer of Internet access solutions for the hospitality market, has signed a strategic agreement with Hotel Information Systems (HIS), the hospitality division of MAI Systems Corporation (AMEX: NOW), for the development and marketing of a G.Hotel? interface for HIS’s Property Management Systems - LodgingTouch, Paragon+ and CLS Software.
The agreement calls for joint development and marketing of an integrated High Speed Internet access solution for hotel guest rooms, conference rooms, business centers and lobby kiosks. G.Hotel, GlobaLoop’s Internet access solution for the hospitality industry, is positioned with the highest take rate in the industry and offers a true plug-and-play experience for the hotel guest. HIS’s products are strategically positioned throughout the world in many leading hotels, resorts and lodging facilities. The collective market position of both companies, combined, with the talented resources at each company’s disposal will contribute to the rapid development of the interface and enable an accelerated market launch of the G.Hotel integration to HIS’s well known Property Management Systems.
