Just days after Yahoo! chose the site as their ‘Pick Of The Day’, Travelago.com has been selected by Streamingmedia.com as their “Site of the Week.”
“Travelago provides a means for consumers to “explore the world”, not just book a package vacation. It`s a great site to get ideas for travel, learn about hot new restaurants and activities in the destination and compare hotel offerings. Travelago allows consumers to “see where they`re going before they go.”
Streamingmedia.com`s write up states that Travelago treats different streaming clients and technologies more equally than just about any other site on the net. The write up also indicates that Travelago offers “1,400 nicely produced clips for your web-surfing, would-be-traveling, information-seeking, streaming enjoyment.” All video clips are available to consumers in all modem speeds and with media players including Real, Quicktime and Windows Media. It also highlights Digital Island`s hosting and streaming which is a partnership Travelago announced earlier this month.
Travelago has a library of more than 650 worldwide destinations and over 1,500 hotels, restaurants and attractions.
Additionally, consumers can book their travel via major booking engines, or travel packages through New River Technologies (Delta Airlines Vacations, Continental Vacations and coolvacations.com).
Current partnerships including Road Runner and Ocean Drive Magazine, enable consumers to simply click on the travel button or Travelago logo at each of these sites, and link directly to Travelago. Additional partnerships of this type are imminent.
