A new corporate booking function for its corporate accounts is online from Delta Airlines.

The enhancement, called delta.com
for corporations, resulted from a partnership between Delta`s e-Business unit and its Sales & Distribution organisation. It gives contracted corporate customers the ability to apply negotiated discounts to eligible itineraries and fares or take advantage of Web promotional fares. The site also provides comprehensive travel manager reporting tools, and travellers are awarded with the applicable SkyMiles bonuses for purchasing at delta.com.
According to Delta, online booking capabilities reduce costs by eliminating transactional fees and provide real-time reporting tools for travel managers to more easily and efficiently track and supervise travel budgets. Usage reports are updated daily with the transaction information from the previous day.
Delta.com for corporations is available to any corporation currently under contract for negotiated rates with Delta. Registration is handled with assistance from the Delta account manager assigned to the corporation.
More than 17,000 corporate users from eight companies are currently registered to take advantage of delta.com for corporations.
