New Airport Web Portal

AirportXchange headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, has launched a Web-enabled online marketplace that links airports and communities.
The site operates a comprehensive e-business platform for the airport community, including airport operators, suppliers, service providers, retailers and travellers.
The portal, incorporated in Delaware, is one of a family of companies of XYBASE, a developer of major airport management systems and is helping to solve problems in the travel field. One is to create new revenue and cost savings for airports, many of which are facing increasing competition, shrinking government subsidies, escalating operating costs and increasing demands on capacity.
Soon, the airportXchange will provide updates on world travel situations, delay alerts, options for rerouting travel and ticket returns and purchases. airportXchange has secured its first business partner, PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura 1, which manages 13 airports in Indonesia and it will partner with Dubai Internet City, a Middle East Internet infrastructure provider.
