The effect and future of the Internet revolution is being debated today at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
Microsoft’s Bill Gates and Pierre Omidyar, the founder and Chairman of eBay, will be among those attempting to provide answers to questions such as, ‘who should have responsibility for controlling web content’ and ‘whether products sold on the net should be taxed and if so, who should be entitled to levy the tax’. Just one person in 10 living in the world has access to the Internet.
