South Korea`s Korean Airlines Co. (Q.KAL) and Asiana Airlines (Q.ASA) will jointly establish a cyber travel agency, Korean Airlines said Friday. It will be the first marketing venture between the two companies.
Under the plan, the two airliners will jointly invest in a portal site to provide on-line ticketing, hotel reservations and rental car services, Korean Airlines said in a press release.
The amount to be invested hasn`t been decided yet. The Internet service will be available late this year, Korean Airlines added.
