Galileo Upgrades RoomMaster System

RoomMaster All Brands was launched yesterday by Galileo as an enhancement to the RoomMaster hotel booking system, providing instant access for travel agents to a customer’s favourite hotel property.
Marriott International is the launch customer for this one-to-one marketing tool, to be followed by Carlson Hospitality, Cendant, Choice Hotels and Starwood on 1st December.
Agencies can request availability at any one of the hotels under a group’s brand umbrella.

Of particular benefit to travellers is that they are able to gain points in the respective hotel loyalty programmes, which generally have the different brands as part of one programme.
The system is offered at no additional cost to an agency and will eliminate the need for an agent to remember multiple-chain codes for a common preferred supplier, as each group has been given a single code.
