All-Hotels and EPHA join forces to take Edinburgh Hotels Online

Members of the Edinburgh Principal Hotels Association (EPHA) will now be able to take bookings for their hotels, online, as a result of a partnership signed today.
All-Hotels, the definitive online hotel service company, has joined forces with EPHA to implement its new online booking engine, a-Res, in the hotels of all 44 association members. The collaboration will also result in a dedicated website: http://www.stayinedinburgh.net
Over the last six weeks, All-Hotels has worked with EPHA and Edinburgh & Lothians Tourist Board (ELTB) to develop this web-based booking service for all visitors travelling to the capital. The 44 association members, who account for 1.8 million bed nights a year, have also received training from All-Hotels, enabling them to manage effectively the online booking process. Members of the association include The Bonham, The Balmoral Hotel, and Dalhousie Castle and Spa.
Jane Karwoski, CEO, All-Hotels said: “This is the latest in a line of strategic alliances for All-Hotels Ltd. To date, hoteliers have had mixed views of online booking and how to increase their revenue via this new distribution channel: the internet. This partnership provides all members of the EPHA with a channel to open their hotel to the consumer worldwide. This deal is also important for All-Hotels, both for the visitors to our consumer website, all-hotels.com and the other hoteliers interested in maximising their revenue using our online booking engine (a-Res).
Simon Williams, Chairman of the EPHA, adds; “We considered a number of providers for the software but all-hotels seemed to be the natural choice and clearly have experience in this market. Stayinedinburgh.net will provide an internet focus for many of our members, some of whom are yet to have an online booking facility. More importantly, it has given them access to the a-Res product which is also proving to be a valuable tool for hoteliers.”
All-Hotels launched its free proprietary software product, a-Res, earlier this year. It allows independent hotels and small/medium hotel chains to battle with the industry giants as it not only lets hotels create an online booking function but also enables them to manage their room inventory online.
Hoteliers can register for a-Res and add the online inventory management and booking functions to an existing hotel website simply by visiting http://www.all-hotels.org, All-Hotels` website dedicated to hoteliers. Registered hotels can then take bookings through their own website and through a listing on http://www.all-hotels.com which, combined with All-Hotels`s partners and affiliates, has over 1M monthly visitors.
