US AIRWAYS OFFERS FLORIDA FARE BARGAINS VIA USAIRWAYS.COM

US Airways is offering specially discounted Internet only fares for travel between the U.S. and Florida for tickets purchased via its Web site at usairways.com.

These special ticket prices offer customers discount fares ranging from $118 to $238 roundtrip. To take advantage of these travel bargains, tickets must be purchased online at least seven days prior to departure and no later than Feb. 2, 2000, with all travel completed by midnight Feb. 17.


For flights to Florida, these fares are available when traveling Monday through Thursday. For flights from Florida, the sale fares are available Tuesday through Friday. One Saturday night stay is required. For MetroJet travel, these special fares are available any day of the week with a one-night stay required. Tickets must be purchased using a major credit card and become nonrefundable 24 hours after making an initial reservation.

Ticket prices under this fare sale are roundtrip and do not include applicable airport passenger facility charges of $3 to $12, depending on the itinerary, and $2.50 federal excise tax applied to each flight segment. Under certain circumstances, tickets may be changed for a $75 administrative fee, plus the difference between the two fares, if applicable. US Airways does not apply a change or cancellation fee for MetroJet travel.

Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights. Fares are subject to change and may not always be lower than US Airways’ everyday low fares to select destinations. Other conditions may apply.


Depending on travel needs, alternative connections may be available at the same fares, with all or part of the service on regional aircraft operated by US Airways Express carriers Allegheny, Air Midwest, CCAIR, Chautauqua, Colgan Air, CommutAir, Mesa, Piedmont, or PSA.


In addition, customers will receive 5,000 bonus Dividend Miles the first time they book online and 1,000 bonus Dividend Miles thereafter, when purchasing a roundtrip ticket through usairways.com and flying on US Airways, the US Airways Express carriers, US Airways Shuttle or MetroJet. The 5,000-mile bonus consists of a 4,000-mile first-time booking bonus, in addition to the 1,000 miles that US Airways already provides for roundtrip tickets purchased through usairways.com. Both online booking bonuses are valid for tickets purchased and flights taken by June 30, 2000.
