US AIRWAYS TEAMS UP WITH WEATHER.COM TO BRING

Customers visiting US Airways’ Web site at usairways.com now can receive complete weather information from around the world directly on US Airways’ new weather page.

Current weather information, provided by The Weather Channel Web site, weather.com, can be found in the Travel Information section of US Airways’ home page. The new feature displays current weather conditions from around the world, as well as weather images on maps of the U.S., updated hourly. Other features include the ability to access localized weather information simply by entering a zip code.

US Airways’ weather page also offers the ability to quickly link customers to weather conditions at major destinations on US Airways’ extensive route network, such as Boston, Charlotte, N.C., New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Tampa and Washington, D.C. Additionally, the weather page provides weather information not only by city, but area, and region, including national and international updates.

As an added feature, customers also can access their flight arrival and departure information on the weather page simply by typing in their flight number and date of travel.
